Press Conference: New Women’s Event
Thank you to everyone who came out today for our press conference at Methodist Women’s Hospital. Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert helped kick-off our registration for the Women’s Retro Super Sprint Triathlon. The Women’s Retro Super Sprint Triathlon is a shorter distance (the approximate distance is a 300 yard swim, a 5 mile bike ride and a 1 mile run) with an emphasis on race participation. Everyone will get a medal, the fee is only $40 and there is a fun retro theme! This short race is a way for women to try out the sport of triathlon. The race will take place on June 7, 2015 at Lawrence Youngman Lake. It’s being held in conjunction with the Omaha Women’s Triathlon.
