Media Coverage of the USA Triathlon Press Conference
USA Triathlon announced the addition of a beginner-specific wave for the Sprint National Championships, meant to encourage participation from new triathletes in the Omaha community.
Held as part of the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships weekend at Omaha’s Levi Carter Park on Aug. 13-14, the beginner wave is targeted at 150 first-time triathletes who want to get started in the sport. Each person who registers for the beginner wave will receive an introductory 12-week training plan, and awards will be given to the first-place male and female finishers in this wave.
