Faces of Fearless – Susie Duncan

Race Omaha is proud of our athlete Susie Duncan for living life with confidence and strength. Watch her inspiring story above.

Even though she nearly drowned at Lawrence Youngman Lake during the Omaha Women’s Triathlon a few years ago, Susie Duncan didn’t let fear stop her from getting back in the water.  Though she may never know what happen on that fateful day, she was sure of one thing. “I needed to prove to myself I could do it,” Susie said. “I needed to get that confidence back. I had unfinished business.”
